Piedmont Park
If you want to spend a day outdoors and away from the city, Piedmont Park is the place to go.
Piedmont Park is a large urban park at the center of Atlanta. It’s situated between the Midtown and Virginia Highland neighborhoods, about 1 mile northeast of Downtown.
Dr. Benjamin Walker originally owned the property and used it as his gentleman’s farm and residence while he was out of town.
Piedmont Park is a beautiful place to spend a day in Atlanta. It has a great view of the skyline, and it’s known as one of the best places to be on a summer evening. There are tons of restaurants, shops, and museums that surround itso you can get your culture fix while sitting under a tree.
